Which is why we almost rioted that night. That was one of many bad calls attempting to get Matt Ryan a Heisman. BC's OL blatantly held all night. That was nowhere near being interference
Whoever's channel this is start it up but with some more recent stuff or other older games

And a future NFL LB at that!A LB running with their guy in man coverage? Whoa.
Guyton does have a good de-cleating block against VT.
Illegal block under today's rules

Notice none of the players on the sideline are interested in our ball carrier. They are celebrating Guyton. Our seats were right in front of that hit.
No joke, I think that was about as wild as I can remember BDS from a single, non-gamewinning play. It was the football equivalent of Ish's dunk over Engin Atsur

I'm still booing that game. PTSD.I was at that game. Boston College's offensive line were the best tacklers I've ever seen.

As bad as the refs winding the clock at home against UNC when we were in the RedZone with under a minute left in the half despite our WR catching the ball and stepping out of bounds. At least we won that game. CPJ tore into the ref on the way to the locker at half
Man I miss having a competent, competitive coach on the sideline.
GT football for me was never more fun than 2009. It seemed the sky was the limit and anything was possible. Even the GOL years seemed to have a hard cap on them, which was named FSU. Attendance was strong because optimism was everywhere. IMO our stock peaked just before the Georgia game when we were sitting 10-1. Losing to UGA in 2009 was terrible, and beating Clemson for the ACC didn't really make up for it.But I thought we didn't ever throw the ball under CPJ. So much for that lie. And did you notice the almost full stadium? Been a long time since we've seen the likes of that.
