Freeman ND new HC

Still remarkably popular in his home state of Ohio, Freeman has drawn praise from former recruits – such as ex-Notre Dame standout Drue Tranquill about his authenticity – as well as high school coaches – even if Freeman has not necessarily recruited that school every year.

“He's just genuinely a great guy about recruiting and relationships,” Evan Dreyer, one of Ohio's top prep football coaches, told FootballScoop about Freeman. “Marcus is genuine, real. He's worrying about the health of players, checking on them, and helping out high school coaches.
Looks like ND made a great hire.

Shocked to see them go so hard "against the grain", I mean someone just cursed at me the other day and said STTE of, "why should we worry about what HS Coaches & Recruits think".

FYI Noter Dumb is in line to hold on to a Top5 2022 Class and a Top3 Class is shaping up for 2023.

Looks like great leadership as far as this outsider is concerned.

<Sarcasm On> He doesn't check many of the boxes that Stingtalk believes are important. Not a proven head coach at any level, much less a proven P5 head coach. I guess things have slumped so low at ND that they had to promote from within.

<Sarcasm Off> He was hired by ND in January, did ND have a suspicion the Kelly was leaving?

Seems like a pretty mediocre resume for a job that big, but I don't know much about him

It's always fun to watch Notre Dame lose.
No HC experience at all is very risky. We can enjoy the implosion.
screw Dan Devine. Rudy was still offsides.
