The way this thing turned out, it looks like our fate was sealed as soon as T Jennings stepped in front of Demarius Bilbo.

We beat uga, we play in the gator bowl. All this crap about the peach if certain things happened was a joke. And the joke is on Tech.

If this doesn't officially prove the need to beat the illiterates, nothing will.

Is it possible that Braine turned his nose up at nashville when he thought they had to take us if the peach didn't?

No, it is NOT possible. There are enough things for which Dave Braine is responsible (if not always to blame) without having to add in things that just didn't happen and are pure conjecture.
 
appearantly nashville was never an option. According to the daily rag [ajc] Braine was quoted as saying something long the lines of "Ramsey told us from day 1 that they were going to take UVA". We got hosed, it sucks all around, nothing we can do now, cept hope to finish 8-4, hang another banner, and beat the mutts next year. Seems like as good of an ending as any for such a roller coaster season, but these boys deserve better.
