From the Macon Telegraph

trash trash and more trash encouraging a defeatist attitude. Ignore it folks, you'll be better off.

If you're happy w/ simply finishing above .500 every year then by all means keep Gailey.

I don't expect to win 10 games every year (though I would not admit that if I were AD), but I expect to see some sort of progress, and beating only 1 team over .500 in Gailey's 6th year w/ a team he describes as his most talented yet, is not acceptable.

Before that run, Georgia won seven straight, and overall, the Bulldogs own a 58-36-5 record in the series.

:pat: --the Clemson grad has been given erroneous information.

The part that pisses me off is this statement.

"So there's really no reason, realistically, for Tech fans to compare their program to Georgia's. And no matter what happens Saturday, there's no reason to fire Gailey."

Unfortunately, the first statment is true today. But it is THE reason we SHOULD encourage and support Drad to consider our options.

For me, the most disturbing take-away from this article is that this person, Daniel Shirley, makes a living making garbage such as this.

Are there no barriers to entry into the sportswriting market?

THIS WRITER IS WRONG .

GOL won 6 ....lost 5... his first season

Was 5-6 his second season ..His only losing season

Which school has the most recent NC? Sportswriters and Georgie fans have a lot in common.
