FSU Special Teams

I don't consider our special teams to be very good. Watching this FSU / Colorado game it looks as if FSU's special teams are pretty solid (at least against Colorado). Hopefully we can keep their special teams from getting big plays and long returns, it looks like part of the key is to avoid penalties (such as the one that led to the blocked punt that went backwards through the uprights).

I think we're improving and we should be good enough to at least prevent too many big time plays for them to beat us just on that. If I remember correctly, that was always an area they got an edge on us in. Except in 2002, where there were about 35 flags for block in the back.

Minus the poor holding on the FG kicks, our ST were pretty good in the MSU game last week. If we can just get the long snapper and holder to get their acts together, the ST should be solid.
