Standing on the Florida State sideline as Yellow Jackets sophomore Lance Austin scooped up the ball at his own 22 and took off the other way without stopping until he reached the end zone, Fisher stoically removed his headset, clearly shocked at only the second loss in the last three seasons for the Seminoles.
"When there is a blocked kick, you've got to cover," Fisher said after bedlam erupted in Bobby Dodd Stadium. "That's finishing the game. We talk about it all the time."
They'll be talking about this game for years.

"I thought I hit the ball well," Aguayo said. "I looked up and didn't see it flying down the middle. Then I saw it on the ground. A lot of their guys, a lot of our guys thought it was dead. It was kind of confusing."

We held FSU to 5 plays in the 3rd quarter and 9 possessions on the game. It feels good to have our offense back.

I respect Jimbo Fisher for not going the "it was a goofy, wacky way to lose a game" route. Special Teams plays can score the same amount of points as any offensive or defensive play. We played them blow for blow down to the end and we won the last play of the game.

Eh. Offense scored 16 points and essentially gave FSU 10. Wouldn't call our offense back yet.

It was really a head to head game, both teams holding each other, but man special teams just got it done!

Pretty impressive that fsu was selling out to kill the dive and Marshall still averaged close to 4 per carry.
