Looks like Perkins had a damn good game. Anyone know how the other recruits faired in their games?

Bostic rushed for the game winning TD in his game. Days put up like 50 in 3 quarters on his opponent. Denzel McCoy's team got killed I think, not sure how he played.

Ayers had a 73 yard TD catch and a 84 yard kick-off return for a TD.

Synjyn Days was 4-5 passing for 130 yards and a TD.

I worked the sidelines for the Centennial/Northview game. McCoy was a non-factor. Big kid, but seemed to lack speed and quickness. The fact that he played both ways may have had something to do with it.
Also looks to be a really nice kid who could probably benefit from acquiring a mean streak.

Alford looked good on his blocking assignments when I focused on him. Really drove his man when blocking. Plays TE and lined up at tackle a bit, I think.

Adairsville beat Woodland 28-20. Alford also played nose guard and made several tackles.

This guy's first post in nearly 8 months just happens to be one saying that one of our most prized recruits was a non-factor in his first game? I'll believe it when I see this corroborated.

TG1066, you're an ass because you have no idea what you're talking about. Number of posts makes no difference per the quality of information/opinion (i do believe I've posted more than that, possibly under a different name, but it really doesn't matter). I don't post to hear myself talk or read my own bs. I post when it's relevant. My son plays for Centennial and I worked the chains on the Northview visitor side. I didn't say McCoy was bad or lazy or anything else negative. I just told you he was not a factor in any way. Hell, look at the score and tell me whether you think the NV defense did anything good. I did get to see him interact on the sidelines with the coaches, his teammates and the fans, and as I stated he seemed like a really good kid, and big. I'm sure he will be a fine addition to our team because I trust our coaching staff. However, in this game he and the rest of his team were ineffective. If you want proof, Mr High and Mighty sitting in Plano, go check out the GPB.org website and watch the game for yourself.

I never said quantity of posts equates to better information. I was skeptical of someone posting information after lurking for 8 months. I did not intend it as an insult, and you shouldn't have taken it as such. I'm the kind of person who is wary about unsubstantiated reports or rumors.

Me being an ass and your overreaction aside, thanks for giving me a link to see for myself.

i watched a lot of it...he was playing at DE and the offense was just reading him right every play. He made a few really athletic plays and was throwing his blocker around, but overall he was not a factor.

Don't worry about Mccoy he will be fine. He won't be playing DE in college and won't be playing both ways. Mccoy has a few things to work on once he gets to college. Shawn Green is ahead of Mccoy as being ready to play from day 1. Down the road Mccoy will be a extreme talent.
