I see that "The Kickoff" weekly reader has placed GT at number 13 for the week.

Doesn't mean diddly squat as far as the price of tomatos is concerned but for anyone who appreciates having smoke blown up their dress, there it is.

The Kickoff is a publication put out by Kickoff Publishing Co., LLC. out of Chattanooga, TN. It's my insurance man's way of saying how much he appreciates me keeping him up, since his office has this sent to his customers.

I love the Kickoff...it has been a weekly newsletter for almost 60 years.

Believe it or not, Wes Durham keeps it with him when he is on the air.

I keep it with me as well...it makes a great data sheet to see the schedule, scores, division standings, rankings, etc.....all in one fold-up 8/5 x 18 sheet.

The Kickoff has traditionally been favorable to Tech. The schedule of all FBS and most FCS teams in the middle, with scores of past games, comes in handy. The power rating gets screwy at times, but not a bad little publication.
