GA fans so quick to get defensive

On my fantasy football site, UGA fans now all of a sudden have to live in the past, giving me grief about Reggie's throw away on 4th down in 2004 and last year's pick at the goal line. While both plays royally sucked, it is great to know that they have such little confidence in this year's squad that they have to resort to old insults. I love it. Here's what I posted on there that has kept all of them quiet for a while:

"UGA fans waiting to se Reggie Ball honored on Senior Day in Athens? Hey why not, he will be the best quarterback on the field that day!

Guys, that throw away on 4th down was one play. I'm over it, too bad you guys live so much in the past. But when someone hangs 50 on you between the hedges, I guess you have to live in the Glory Days of Greene and Shockley."

Way to show those asssholes!! Now that we will start beating them, they will start referring to the past. Because they know we will beat them this year.

What will happen is when GT goes off on a two/three game win streak in the series, UGA fans will bark about how the GT game isn't as important as Florida, Auburn, etc. until they get another victory over GT, then the story changes.

I Had One Throw It Out ...

at me today that we recruit the same "dumb" athletes they do, we just refuse to admit it. They are already mentally preparing their excuses for a whoppin in late November.
