Thought this might interest some of you . I have started a personal tradition of trying to get sports stars to autograph items for my nephew and grandson, hoping that later on they will appreciate it.

So far I've managed caps w/ Kuchar,Pavin,Mickelson, Tony Barnhardt's football book w/ Eddie McAshan, George Morris, George Rogers, some UGA folks.

I was in the GT bookstore the other day and bought two copies of Bill Curry's book , thinking they would make a good Christmas present for the guys, and decided to have them signed by Curry.

Later on I dropped the books off at the GSU football office for Curry to sign.

A GSU football jersey was framed and hung on the wall opposite the entry door; The caption underneath the jersey read " GSU FOOTBALL, STILL UNDEFEATED".

Thought it was an interesting observation that I wanted to pass to y'all. Looks like they are starting out with the right attitude.

Technically not true since they started with a club team 6 or 7 years ago. :hsugh:

Emory sells t shirts that say that. The joke works a little better with them, however, as they'll probably never field a football team.

Actually, technically it is true since you don't count the records of club teams.

OK, sorry. That was said very tongue in cheek.
Yes, I understand club team records don't count.
My point was Georgia State has technically played organized football, and lost.

Christ

Kennesaw has these shirts too. Most schools without a football team do.

The slogan changes after they play and lose their first game to: "GSU FOOTBALL, STILL WINLESS."

I think their charter forbids it.

Yeah, my alma mater (Lee University) has these, as well.
