If the Yellow Jackets didn’t handle their suddenly lofty status well Saturday, it was surpassed only by how poorly they handled things afterward. Coach Chan Gailey said offensive coordinator Patrick Nix would not be available to the media.
And Johnson?
“He’s not coming out,” sports information director Allison George said

:laugher:

That media whore Shultz was upset.:crybaby:

This was a class move on the part of CG IMO. The media would only made things worse and we have to get ready for Miami. I have NO PROBLEM w/ never letting the media talk to ANYBODY unless we win.

Those whores are going to print what ever they want anyway.

The media in general and Schultz in particular are absolutely useless. Before yesterday, Shultz was singing our praises because that was what made a good editorial. Now that we apparently aren't perfect, Schultz all too easily switch sides to again make a good editorial.

I'm sorry but "Tech is awesome" and "Tech sucks" is not good informative sports writing.

I don't have a bit of problem with ANYONE on the team not talking to the media.

Probably a good idea. The last thing we need is the media making the situation worse than it already is.

I think the way Chan handled whatsherbutt during halftime was good too.

"Reggie's badly dinged up, but anything I could say right now would just be an excuse. We need to execute better."

No apologizes. No coachspeak.
