Yep, and the dims sure as Hell didn't stand against. The only ones who did were the House Republicans and now there are fewer of those.

Everybody has their hand out. It's a race now to see who can buy the most votes with somebody else's money. Obama's preacher was prophetic - God has damned Amerika.

I don't get the socialism thing. Do smart people actually believe this or is this just snarky sour grapes?

Because if you're going to claim the president elect is a socialist then you must agree that America became socialist a long long time ago. And if you're just now upset about a system that's been in effect since you've been alive, that makes me think you're a little odd.

ETA: Seriously, if you think there is a big economic difference between the two given choices we had, you're sadly mistaken. If you're against the type of socialism (sic) that the president elect plans to implement, then stop supporting Republicans because they are not fundamentally different.

Agreed but it's semantics when it comes down to what is fundamentally anti-American.

American is none of these evils.

But who is on UT's radar? Heath Shuler? Some Majors grandkid? Maybe I'm just not seeing it.
