Paul Newberry quoted Chan Gailey:
"Nobody likes to get fired," said Gailey, a former head coach with the NFL's Dallas Cowboys. "But all they can take is your job. They can't take your pay. They can't take your family. They can't take your integrity."

What Coach Gailey actually said is that they can't take your faith. He did not say anything about taking your pay.
Coach Gailey is a man of great integrity. It is sad that a misquote by one AP writer gets repeated so many times. We can only hope that the next coach of Georgia Tech will have the character, integrity, and honor of Chan Gailey.
