Can any of you recall A.J. Suggs and Chans steadfast refusal to sit him down. I sense a trend.

I'd say the situations are incomparable. I think Nesbitt shows much more potential and promise than Bilbo. I'd love to see Josh get more reps. Bilbo had a cannon but he was just as erratic as Suggs. But you wouldn't recall that portion, would you?

Snaps breed confidence. Nesbitt is like a racehorse. He needs to feel confidence as he comes to the gate. Then, WATCH OUT!

Maybe we should run Nesbitt continually and ASAP next week once we're in control and up a couple of scores. Let him play unless he blows it.

The problem is he could blow it with a pick six or something and get the game close and man you'd be hearing some SERIOUS second guessing.

I think it will also help with recruiting if we continue to play these talented true fresh. It's a great selling point to a kid to say "you'll be playing next year".

Trouble is, TB needs the playing time to gain experience and confidence just as badly as Nesbitt!

Yukonwreck's stubborness.

Can any of you recall Yukonwrek's steadfast refusal to say anything positive. I sense a trend.

Hmmm. A stubborn head coach at a major college football program. Go figure.

This profession really could benefit from having more PUSHOVERS.

I recall Chan benching the batsh*t out of him during the Fresno State game. Benched him so hard he never saw the field again until UGA the following year. Benched him so hard he started a true freshman the next season. Benched him due to asinine on-the-field performance. Does that count?

Maybe we're thinking of a different AJ Suggs..

I agree....TB hasn't played a whole lot of football....Only started his senior year in HS, and other than uconn and wvu he's just played mop-up duty....I'm not ready to give up on him just yet, there's a lot of up side and he does seem to be getting a little better each week and if we start catching the damn ball that would help as well.

Yukon, here's what's lame about your post and is signature of a buzzoffer. You don't have to build a case against Gailey. He's done that all by himself without you trying to come up with conspiracy theories of his incompetence by painting only half a picture. Its totally unnecessary. Most people on this board with the exception of Lawbee who is a complete moron anyway, are either on the fence with Gailey or not a fan at all of his coaching.

So again, you don't need to bother hallucinating more possible scenarios of Gailey's incompetence. 1.) You're not going to miraculously get him fired faster with your earth shattering analysis, and 2.) You're not going to enlighten or change anyone's opinion about the man at this point anyway.

Absolutely for real.....taken out of context and maybe ya'll have never heard of "sarcasm" before. All of us engineers suffered by the lack of humanities in our core curriculum. To paraphrase Grizzard, Yukonwreck wouldn't pull for Georgia with one engine out on the team plane.

No, it doesn't count. Suggs finally played so badly that he had to sit him. I'm talking about a coach that loses winnable games because he won't bench a non-performing player.

So...what's your point?

Bench TB for JN? If so, you're an idiot. Bench RB for TB? again. idiot. Just not pickin' up what you're puttin down.

Who are the NON-PERFORMING PLAYERS?

Yukon, here's the problem with your logic. You concluded that the reason we lost whatever games you're remembering was all because of AJ. Chan had a different opinion, and in his opinion AJ gave us our best chance to win. We can disagree with him, but if ANY coach believes he knows the right thing to do he HAS to do it. Anything less is handing over his team to public opinion.

Besides, name me just one coach who isn't a stubborn bastich. I'm related to one (HS HC) and there is only one answer to any question as far as he's concerned.

To BORs point, by making up crazy conspiracy theories all you're likely to do is generate more support for Chan. Why not just stick to what's in front of us without trying to create even more controversy? All you do is make yourself look foolish.

My first point would be this thread was started in the middle of the game last Saturday.....when several voices were wanting to see Nesbitt, and Bennett was--as f'ing usual--struggling. The comment was valid and still is. Suggs, Ball, and now Bennett ...it suggests to me one of two things--Gailey has unbelievable and unearned loyality to the QB he ordains as the starter---or that our cupboard is so bare and has been for his whole tenure, that the poorly performing QB is the only option he has. I'll repeat my question: if TB had played more last year when Reggie was stinking it up, would he be a better QB today?
