Summers and Snoddy still unkown. Searcy out for the season with broken leg, which I think we already knew.

Two Georgia Tech players who missed Saturday’s game against North Carolina are expected to be able to play this Saturday against Clemson. At his weekly news conference Monday, coach Paul Johnson said that he thought that defensive tackle Patrick Gamble and A-back TaQuon Marshall would play against the Tigers.

Gamble has missed the past two games with a head injury. Marshall’s injury is undisclosed. Marshall was knocked out of the Duke game Sept. 26 and was dressed for the North Carolina game but did not play.

Gamble’s return would be helpful. He has been part of a three-player rotation at defensive tackle with Adam Gotsis and Jabari Hunt. Marshall is part of the A-back rotation that has been beset by injuries.

“It’s just been one of those years,” Johnson said.

Johnson said he didn’t know about the status of two other players, wide receiver Micheal Summers (shoulder) and A-back Broderick Snoddy (hand). Summers has missed the past two games. Snoddy sat out the North Carolina game with his hand in a cast.

Johnson also clarified that A-back Qua Searcy, who is out for the season, has a broken leg.

Summers isn't going to be back this week. PJ said it's going to be awhile longer for him. But sounds like we're hopeful to have him back later this season.

Gamble's not on the depth chart. I hope he is indeed back, because we looked really, really bad without he and Gotsis.

Gamble would be a big addition. We have to have good DL play on Saturday.

No Gamble, no Gotsis = losing to a shitty shitty UNC team.

Too bad we can't stockpile 4* talent at the DT position here at Tech. Oh wait, Kallon was a 4*. :(

Oh, and regarding the article....I think Taquon Marshall is going to be really good for us. He's already impressed the hell out of me.

As long as we get Gotsis back I'll feel a lot better. He may not be Rock Perdoni but he's all we've got.

Hope he tackles low.

I wouldn't mind having the folks back that we still have back.

Referring of course to who they were last year and who they have been this year.

Yeah, that makes great sense. You must be a huge fan.
