Jordan Mason w/his best game yet. Tough, incredible running--let's hope he's ok.
Brenton King: 4 XPs, 2 KO touchbacks, 1 52 yd FG (not his fault it didn't count). His best day as a Jacket.
Balls of steel
Listening to the last Miami drive on the radio call was one of the most intense things I've ever done. I feel like I just ran a marathon, then went 48 hours without sleeping.
Jordan Mason is a warrior.
Percy for a dime TD pass
I know he got a couple penalties (one that was BS), but Swilling was relentless on those end zone throws.
Tre day with the breakups
didn't quit, they targeted him a lot, and one of his penalties was smart because he was beat.
and by the way we shut them out in the second half + OT
He called a pretty good game after everything settled in.
The D. First half dealt w/ridiculous field position for Miami. Made some big, big stops. Finally, some pressure on the QB.
Special teams were special today. Harvin throwing a dart like a seasoned QB. Blocked FG!
The whole team had balls! Go Jackets! Fight! Win! Drink! Get naked!
Brown and Mason on O.
I think the most exciting thing is that we just injected juice into the veins of the lockerroom going into another bye week before another very winnable game. It will be interesting to see how the lockerrooms are vs this bye vs last bye.
Game balls to Harvin, Graham, King, and Mason
Swilling got 3 penalties and was a little overaggressive at times, but that dude can cover.
Mason 100%. Career high + back-to-back 100 yard games
Lots of improvement happening all around. It isn’t a linear progression; sometimes one team takes steps forward and others take steps backward. When it came to will to win, the team won today. Ugly game, talent deficient, but had the will to win. Culturally, this is where GT today differs than previous years. It is top- down today with coaches being the culture creators vs bottoms up where the coaches relied on players to create a culture.
Harvin III - some great punts and a nice TD pass
Charlie Thomas sacrificing his life to make a TFL in OT. RIP
Let's not get carried away now...
