I usually watch the games at the student center because I don't have a TV. There might be 5 other random strangers I watch the game with. Anyone know of some good places in ATL to watch the game (preferably with some good eats as well )?

If your on-campus (and don't have a car), the closest place is probably Rocky at 10th and Hemphill. For somewhat better food and service, you could do the long walk to get to Jock's and Jills at 10th and Peachtree, although that gets pretty full for Tech games.

If you have a car, my favorite place to watch games so far has been a Taco Mac.

Yeah I have a car. I've been to rocky several times for trivia and eats, but never for a game. I'll see if I can get a date that wants to go to Jock's and Jills or Taco Mac. :fingersx:

:laugher: Good luck man. What's the ratio? Is it still 70:30?

I'm proud to say that I'm enjoying a 40:60 ratio here @ Pepp!:D

The odds are good but the goods are odd as the ladies say... so it's not that bad. And yeah, still about 70:30.

Most engineering chicks are ugly though. If you cut out all the socially inept guys and ugly girls it's probably more like 30:20.

So what is the deal with you going to pepperdine and beating a simultaneous GT, Gator, and Oregon fan?

Midtown Tavern on Piedmont plays all the away games on a projector. Great food too. Free parking across the street.

Frankie's at the Prado ( a jock and jills) location on Roswell Rd just south of I285 is having a GT watch party. There is generally a good crowd there in an area they have reserved for GT.

Sorry if this is thread jacking, but Highland Cigar is a killer place to go. Great food and drinks, and a great cigar lounge w/ great air purification. I am going to watch a couple of games down there this year.

Moe's & Joe's in Virginia Highlands... Not to far from tech and if it gets boring taco mac is across the street... I went there after Thursday's game and they had $4 pitchers... Try the Hot wing quesidilla things... They are great and you get two for $7... And, there is always some good looking girls from Emory in there.
