Tashard Choice. GT's junior rushed for a career-high 138 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries.
Usually the passing game gets all the credit.

Its a team game, Knox. Without the contributions of all the other players up to those last 2 downs, Johnson's plays would have meant NOTHING.

You have to give this big win to the Defense. Choice had a great game.
Reggie and Calvin had a good day.

#93 is an absolute beast!

I met him on fan day and he is the most ripped, tallest, imposing player we have at Tech.

Isn't he just a sophomore?

Yes, just a soph!

Let's give one to Avery too - running down that Maryland receiver was just as critical as Michael Johnson's sacks.

No doubt!
I don't understand DB play nearly as well as some here. That said, why was the safety always so late on that side today?

He maybe a red shirt. Anyway, All American honors await that young man real soon.

Take nothing away from our starters, but when I saw Michael Johnson come in for the game saving defensive stand at the 7 yard line I really felt good about our chances.

Awsome young man!

So many key plays that contributed to this win. It was a great TEAM effort and I'm glad I don't have to pick just one... the two sacks by Johnson just secured the win!

Not familiar with the concept of the "game ball" are you?

Dunno, but I do know that Jahi tripped, which is why that guy was so open in the first place. Grr.

Michael Johnson gets my vote. He was having a great day before the last two plays of the game and he is a total beast on Special Teams
