belly....thanks for the So. Car. link. I did not read all the responses but the original post made me envision a proper and effective response to booing. I am not a big fan of booing but believe it is an immediate reaction to displeasure and not pre-meditated, so I am not ready to try to hang those who do. The personality of some just strongly move them to let their displeasure be known. On the other hand some, very properly, are drawn to the defence of those being booed; hence the great "booing debate". All that being said, I am of the opinion that those who are troubled most by the boos should counter with standing, cheering, and drowning them out. As the linked poster expressed, the majority could easily drown out the minority. Too boo or not too boo, that is not the question (oops), whether to counter the boo with an equal or surpassing strength seem to be the challenge. {clink, clink, two pennies inserted}
