As I was putting on the same Buzz shirt I wear for every basketball game, I started remembering all of the game day rituals I did as a football player (there weren't many for basketball games as they started right after school usually).

So, what is everyone's gameday ritual for Tech football games? You all have them. Some are more querky than others. Let's hear 'em.
 
We've not lost in the last 3 years when certain magnets are on my car a certain way.

We've not won when they are different. It's crazy.

Every once in a while, I get lazy and test it, and I'm always sorry.

The Notre Dame game, I got excited and added a couple extra magnets - I winged it. We lost.

Some jerk stole one off the other side at whichever game was before the Clemson game - I replaced it with a different type of magnet, and we got killed. Replacing with improper magnets, I've found is even worse than leaving them off.

(I replaced with an inferior magnet at Duke about 3 years ago :eek: :eekhair: - the year we got killed by them. Need I say more?)

The UGA game - I allowed my wife to put her UGA magnets on the other side of the car. It's my fault we lost. Please don't blame Reggie anymore.

Wake - I was hunting In South Dakota - No magnets at all.

WVU - I was hunting in Texas. No magnets.

It won't happen again guys.

We should be National Champions next year if I do my part - which I will.
 
I had a buddy that bought a new collared golf shirt at the bookstore and put it on in the parking lot before the UGA/South Carolina game the year Quincey threw 5 INT's and lost the game for UGA.

That guy bought a brand new shirt and put it on in the parking lot for 4 or five games straight after that. He was almost relieved when they finally lost because it was breaking him.
 
If I go to an away game, we lose. So, my ritual is having huge cookouts for away games.

Our football team is 3-0 when I am present for away-game cookouts. Those three wins? '04 Clemson, '05 Auburn, '05 Miami.

Um, I wish you had a cookout last November against the Ball lickers!
 
I always wear my nike #1 reggie ball jersey on gamedays if I am home. After the Georgia game I went and had "Swilling" put on the back but didn't wear it for the Wake game or the Gator. Against ND, I'll be wearing that Reggie Ball turned Ken Swilling throwback jersey.

FYI- if you guys are at home or having a bbq for a Tech game. Download the Budweiser song off the internet, burn it to a CD. Blast it on the stereo and get everyone there to go up and down with you in the living room. UNBELIEVABLE!! An Auburn alum said it was the coolest sh** he'd ever been a part of. LOL
