Gary Faulkner

Don't know the words. Helped build onto the concession stand with him while I was in High School. Actually many memories but the most time spent with him. His sons were about 5 and 7 years younger than me. He was a man, a great man. Prayers sent.

Very sad to hear. I knew Gary well. I was a bench warming 9th grader when Gary ran all over us in high school. I was the manager for DB coach B*** L*** when Gary was a safety on the team. I saw him in Milledgeville from time to time when he was a contractor and both our sons played in the GISA baseball all stars the years they were seniors and thats the last time I talked to him. I guess he succumbed to the renal cancer. He was a damn good Yellow Jacket. That 71 game against UGA was an unbelievable effort.

Gary was a great man, while I only came to know him the past three years, we often talked TECH football and our HS programs. He will be missed!!

I'm Gary's middle son and my sister brought this thread to my attention. I created an account just to tell you guys thank you for sharing memories about my dad. It really means a lot to know my dad touched so many people through football and coaching/teaching. And of course GO JACKETS

Tyler, our love and prayers are with you and your family. I am also a coach's kid and also lost my Mom to renal cancer.
