Guyton just had a pick for the Pats on MNF. Good to see an undrafted rookie FA getting some playing time.
 
Real nice play too, snatched the batted ball out of the air.

I'm a Patriots fan, and from the articles I read in preseason and so far this year, the coaching staff likes Guyton a lot. Good for him.
 
That was great to hear his name. They said what school he is from several times too, great pub for GT. We seem to have put several players into active duty in the NFL in recent years.

I checked the stats on Foxsports and Meriwether got the credit for the pick. I knew there was a conspiracy!

They must have just gotten the plays confused. Meriwether had a pick earlier in the game. Guyton's pick was near the line of scrimmage, I doubt Meriwether was even in the vicinity then.
 
They said Guyton ran the fastest 40 at the combine for linebackers. Sub 4.5. WOW.
 
I always thought with his speed he could have been a good safety.

I don't think he was any bigger than Swilling, who was as you stated, a HUGE safety. From freshman to senior, Swilling went from 230 to 246. So, yeah, Guyton would've been a HUGE safety!:wow:
