Someone on the Hive asked a while back if George Novak, coach at Woodland Hills HS in PA, where we have a couple of prospects, played at GT. I got this reply from a columnist up there:
Yes, he did.
I believe he was either a fullback or linebacker from either Munhall or
Homestead High. He also coached at Steel Valley HS, which is a consolidation
of Munhall and Homestead high schools.
I suppose Munhall and Homestead High must be PA schools.
The Woodland Hills team is the Wolverines, and they call their stadium The Wolvarena, which I thought was cool.
