Get ready, the wheels come off today.

This team and coaches who looked so tough on paper two weeks ago, will fold like the paper men that they are.

I want to be excited, but I cannot. Doom is pending. We will lose today and it will be UGLY. Gailey will solidify his fate with "the best talent and the most experience" we've ever had.

I expect a complete meltdown. Next week we will all be talking about legitimate coaching replacements and will so the remainder of the season.

Go Jackets....

I dont think these boys are just gonna roll over today. We will give a good effort and play hard.

A loss, ugly or not, will tear the wheels off indeed.

This program, which has had far more than its share of bad luck in the Gailey era, and been under fire for these past 6 years by a very vocal minority, will no longer be supported by those who haven't been vocal.

With a loss, rancor and rumor will prevail throughout the Jacket family, in the media, on the boards and on the team. It will not be pretty for the rest of the year.

ONE win won't stop the above, but it'll calm things down for a while.

At least BOR's calling it beforehand, so he can legitimately eat crow if we win, or get legitimate "I toldjaso points" if we lose.

I pray this season sticks to historical trends, of us always losing in Charlottesville, and the underdog always winning in GT/Clemson.

Above is what I take from a good thread. The countdown to tomorrow begins today.

I believe we will lose a close one. If they come out flat and are not even competitive, then yes, the wheels will come completely off.

If we lose a close one like I think we will, the FOC guys will still be on board...not much change from last week.

For the Record, I want to be a FOC guy but I just can't do it anymore. Unless we win out (w/ maybe ONE more loss), then I'm done.

Call me an A-hole fan or whatever. I don't care. I want GT to win more than ANYTHING and I hope we do so today...unfortunately, I just don't see it happening

Glad most of you were wrong. I certainly won't be saying I told you so. I didn't have much faith in a win coming into the game either. With that in mind, glad I was wrong too. Sure was fun to watch.

Must have been a 14 sec pit stop ... 'cause the wheels were not off for long ... if at all.

You folks need to cut BOR some slack. He should be given part of that Players of the Game Award.

Um, I did give him slack. That was the point of my post. We came away with a win, but surely wasn't expecting one prior to the game. In fact, I doubt I could fill my office with the ones who did expect a win.

OK, BOR. Crow tastes best while it is still warm.
