Well we are just a couple days away from the big game. IMO we have the opportunity to get in the national conversation this week. I watched some of the ND Texas game and have to say came away with more regard for the ND's talent in the trenches. We will not be running through them like we have the opposition in the first two games. That being said I think PJ and JT will figure out a way to get points. I believe our defense will also make it difficult sledding for ND. Our secondary is the best I can recall in some time, with a little pressure on their inexperienced QB we may get some TO's. I believe we come out on top say 34-24.

Take this wussification and respect for GT's opponent somewhere else! :furious:

Did GT have trouble moving the ball against UGA in Athens?
Did GT have trouble moving the ball against F$U in Charlotte?
Did GT have trouble moving the ball against MSU in Miami?
Did GT have trouble moving the ball against the Germans at Pearl Harbor?

Mind not rite.

this is normal. Embrace it. But then realize that we also have talent in the trenches. Formiddable talent in the trenches and we attack D-Lines differently.

On defense we will see what happens but I think we can hang with this ND team and then some.

Steven, steven, steven.... don't be nervous... be grateful that even if we do lose this game, at the end of the day you're still not a UGA fan. To Hell With Georgia!

Excited ! not nervous but my concern is that we can't leave it to the REF's to decide the game.

They have talent, but we do as well. We have the best O-Line that Johnson has ever had because he broke the mold of playing light guys. The scheme is the same, he's just gone heavier. We have enough beef now to compete against legit D1 defenses.

On defense, we will take some lumps, but we have a deep and talented defense as well. We have shut down deeper more talented teams in the recent past.

Not to say that we will definitely win, but I like our chances. Neither camp is super confident going in. Both coaches and staffs seem very concerned about the outcome and realize what they are up against.

This.

It's what I saw against the Mutts and secWmutts in the OB -- O-line dominance.

Get on.

Whenever I worry about "not being able to move the ball" I remember that we found a way to beat Clemson last year, one of the best front 7s we'll ever ever face. We'll be alright

I think you guys are underselling how good shaq was.. guess we'll find out saturday

You have a history of underselling our whole team. I think Devine will prove more than adequate against ND's personnel.

Shaq was an All-American, NFL level talent guy. He wasn't the only guy on the line though. If everyone on the line was 1/4 (not that there is a true numerical way to quantify talent level) as talented as he was, we wouldn't have had near the success we did. The cast around him was decent as well. Overall, we have a decent line with an extra off season of work, the line is deeper numbers wise, so the overall talent level is probably better.
