I'm not sure puke yellow is any better! Per AJC article, the players didn't seem to like it much either. Guess winning will alleviate the headache that the new jerseys give me.

The players also would prefer to wear Blue and White; The gods should not meddle in the affairs of men.

Mustard appears to have been the typical fabric color used to match "old gold" up until the late 70's, when that bright blaze yellow came into vogue.

This color is much closer to the color worn on the old wool football pants of the 30's, 40's, 50's that makes me smile and I'm only 30.
 
GTg8r, what you are talking about is how gold used to look when dyed in cotton and/or washed out a few times. Todays unis are made of polyester, it just doesn't work. The colors are embarassing and DRad should step in and make an adjustment immediately.
 
There's NOTHING FUNNIER than ENGINEERING NERDS who can't even coordinate wearing SOME SHADE, ANY SHADE, OF YELLOW, to Bobby Dodd Stadium, getting their INTERNET UNDERPANTS IN A WAD about what SHADE the uniforms are.
