But I'm rooting for scUM next week against VT (and F$U against UVa!). I figure scUM will lose to BC (and maybe at MD), so it would be nice for VT to get a 3rd conference loss.

In reality, if we can avoid a letdown against NC State next week, I'll be rooting against both of the Fla teams. If we lose two out of three to NCS, UNC, and Duke, Chan should be out looking for a bridge, a rope, and a big rock! (If he doesn't need them, maybe he can lend them to Larry Coker...)

I'm rooting for career ending injuries of any players with
criminal or disciplinary records.

Do not speak of that possibility.

No matter what else happens in the Coastal, we control our own destiny, so much so that we'd have to lose two out of three to not get to JAX, which would be unheard of, me thinks, considering who the three are (UNC NCST Dook).
I'm buying my tickets tonight.

Just curious...do wish for any fans/coaches/managers/cheerleaders who may have previous criminal or disciplinary records to be injured as well? Or does this apply only to people who actually play the game? If so, why single out players only? Does a misdemeanor count the same as a felony or do you wish for a lesser injury?

I hope you weren't serious. I know this is only a silly little internet board but you may want to consider what you post a little more before hitting the "enter" button. If you were serious, peace be with you brother.

I really think that was tongue in cheek dark humor prompted by the fact we just had a big win against the most notorious "team" in college football.

I don't think that comment is made after playing anyone else in the country. I could be wrong of course.

Under almost no circumstances do I wish for injuries of student atheletes.

But I will say this:

I give two craps about the Mr. Neckstomper and Mr. Helmetbasher. They attempted to end the careers of Miami International players, and shouldn't be playing football.
