My brother(UGA '95) and I have the Thanksgiving tradition of going to the Tech-butt sniffer game. This tradition has sucked of late.

My brother is a minister in Kentucky. He loves to infer all kinds of power to his prayer life, God's favor, and the superiority of his virtuousness from the recent history of the series.

My brother and his family rolled in for dinner last night. We greeted them at the door. My brother opens his mouth and out comes squeeks. It appears that God has smote him with a vicious case of laryngitis.

I hope it does not offened any of your sensitivies. But, even though it contradicts most of my theology, I am taking it as a direct sign from God that we are the team that has found his favor. We have repented of slow quarterback reads; lofting, low velocity passes and a release like the virgin Heinz out of a fresh bottle. We have turned our back on the failure of a non-22 numbered player stepping up to make a play on offense. We have prayed to not back-slide into soft corner coverage and sloppy tackling. God has poured out his spirit of aggresive play calling that will leave all of our play book on the field and every talent will be brought forth so that mercy will not be known. Justice of eternal preportion will be witnessed and red will mark the evil whose pride will be humbled.

Can I get an AMEN on the 200th post. THWG!

...and even if it's not a divine message it will be easier to tolerate my brother at the game

Amen.

Though I have laryngtitis too. What a horrible time to get it. Do you think cold beer will help me get better?

Praise Dee Lawd!

(PDL, a new television station coming soon to your areola)

GO JACKETS! THWG!!!

I used to live at the foot of Signal Mountain--at the end of the last Ice Age. Mountain Creek Road I think.
TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!

This question of who's side is God on really puzzles me. You would think that having invested 6 long years in the virtue of a man who professes his Christian faith above all else that the good Lord would have blessed Chan and the Georgia Tech family with at least one win over the heathens from Athens. Sometimes I think Reverand Richt must just be a more dutiful Christian than Chan. Why else would God leave Chan in the widlerness for so long. Dear Lord if Chan is not the chosen one please send us one of your favored sons.

Go Jackets!

I believe God has allowed us to wander in the dessert lo these many years so we would be thanksful as we enter his promised land tomorrow.

I ramble down Mountain Creek Road every morning on the way to work. It is all condos and apt now though.
