for all you recruitniks over the weekend.

I found a quote from Colin McCarthy that got me thinking.
"It went really well," McCarthy said. "Just as far as football goes at Miami, it doesn't get much better. They win and play for national championships. Everyone has a football mentality. They put a lot of guys into the pros and every kid who comes there wants to win and play at the next level. Its really encouraging being around that type of atmosphere."
He also stated that Ohio State (his other front-runner) is a big-time football program. I guess I'm just hoping that we can turn the tide to where we are considered as competing for championships and a big time football prgrm.

Yep, I checked it out this morning.
Looking at the Tongo commitment story, I saw where he said he was going to major in "Business Administration" at Tech.

Maybe one of the coaches needs to say something to him.

I am sure that those that subscribe to this site noticed this as soon as the story was printed.

He can call it whatever he wants as long as he does well in it. I know I called the same major a few different things during my epic battle!

I don't know why they even bother trying to lure us in. You can read when the latest mutt recruit went to the bathroom. As for us, not a WORD about Quincy Kelly, the latest Ingram story is from August 18th - no stats or nothing from either player. You'd think they'd at least try to get a short paragraph up there at some point. It's not like Decatur and Stone Mountain are that hard to find. At least call a coach or something.

JJ, I'm telling you it's because we as a group don't buy enough subscriptions. They are simply a sales organization, we don't buy their product, and they figure we won't. (they are right about me)

If we were deemed a primary customer or prospect, more information would be printed.
I'm sure they serve a purpose, but their deal is a business and they have to make money by feeding the ugas, UTs, etc. their compliments.
If any of our commits signed with uga, you would see double the coverage on them.

Pocket Watch,

If that was the case then the rivals site wouldn't have nearly the amount of updates they do. They have less subscribers then the scout.com site, yet they have more updates, and about 90% of the time have out scooped scout.com on commits and visits. As far as recruiting coverage, rivals.com is 50X better then scout.com. But gojackets.com is the better site as far as non subscriber posting.

After all it's all about the connections you have. I guess rivals.com has better "inside" connections with the current staff then scout.com does. Just like anything else, it's all about the connections you have.

You definitely sound like you know what you are talking about.

My point was that Ga. Tech does sign good, very good and sometimes great prospects. All of them are certainly D-1 prospects for sure, but if one of the factory schools verballed them, the ink would flow more freely.

I don't know how you would prove or disprove this opinion of mine, but thanks, seriously for your positive opinion about "rivals" vs. the other ones.
