Everyone played their hearts out the whole game. VPI had to earn every inch of this win. Was it all pretty? No. Were there mistakes made? Yes. But at least they were mistakes made out of aggression and not lack of effort.
Good game gents, it's a tough pill to swallow, but it's one I'd much rather accept than the pasting some here were predicting.
I'll still fly my car flag with pride tomorrow deep in the enemy territory, because games like today make me proud to be an alumnus and supporter of GT Athletics.
