I have to admit, I was pulling for UMD at the end, obviously their win would have helped my teams' chances in our division.

I know alot of my Hokie brethren are going to say that you guys aren't as good as your win over us made you out to be. Personally, I think the jury is still out. However, good job avoiding the hangover loss. Your win over us was definitely an emotional high for your team, and it takes alot of mental focus to come out the next week and play with the same intensity. (Clearly you didn't initially, but you stepped it up in the end.)

Obviously, with Clemson and Miami coming up for y'all, your play down the stretch will determine if you're as good as you looked in Blacksburg last week. (Cuz you sure looked good last week!)

As I mentioned before, if y'all keep winning, I'll be pulling for ya come Dec 2nd.

In the meantime, enjoy your bye, and enjoy your 5-1 record.

Thanks for the post. Yes, the jury is stil out on us. We have much to accomplish. We drove the ball three times and came away with no points. That's a sure weakness. Our pass defense is proving to be suspect as teams seem to be able to move the ball through the air, almost at will. But overall we're making slowbut steady progress. Going up to visit that bastion of higher education in SC in two weeks will be interesting.

First of all, thanks for the compliments you are a real class act. Most fans would be very bitter, but you have not, you have earned the respect of the board.

As for you first paragraph, I don't blame you for wanting Maryland to win, if I were not a GT fan I probably would have wanted the underdog to win as well.
