I'm heading to the Falcons game to watch the Browns kick some ARSE.

Sorry, I'm an AFC guy. I just can't pull for the Coons.

Jim Mora needs to pull his head out of his behind, wake up and smell the NFL coffee and start coaching like there 's more to this than a sound byte. Good guy but so what? It takes more than being daddy's little man to win in Lombardi's NFL.

Good job by the Cleveland Browns. I lived in Cleveland for a little bit and I must say that the Falcons fan support sucks compared to how fans support the Browns, Packers, Bears, Steelers and Bills week in and week out, win or lose. People down here can't comprehend how the Browns would have any support and how Cleveland is STILL pissed at the Baltimore owner.

I also grew up both a Miami Dolphins and a Dallas Cowboys fan (long story). So forgive me JD for probably rooting against your team many times growing up.

Funny thing is I grew up a MD and DC fan as well. I can only support the AFC these days because of my allegience.

Fan support down here is pathetic if you ask me for the falcons.

It is. 38 years of inept ownership, indifference to the fan base, foolish draft picks, idiotic trades, and consistant losing will erode the most enthusiastic fan base.

Arthur Blank deserves credit for his efforts to energise the fans and the team, but losing two games in a row to the worst teams in the league don't help a bit.
 
I think Blanks done a great job since buying the team but the next big decision he makes will tell us if he cares about winning football.

He must get rid of MV, and that might piss a lot of people off but MV is not going to take this team to the SB. Schaub has a better chance to do it.

You can get some good OL'men for vick and watch what happens.

Exactly that John. He has the talent on any given day to shine but will never be as consistent as needed to give the team a chance to win every week. It takes more than physical talent to be a successful NFL QB in my humble opinion. They've got a good one in Schaub and don't need to lose him.

Teams actually trade for OL'men? I thought OL'men just kinda showed up and you took'em if you needed'em. But to waste a trade or draft pick on one??? ;)

Look at the guy Minnesota got from Seattle. That was a definite upgrade to a bad Line, there are a few that can be traded for, not many but a couple.

I hope you know I was joking. I know the position is integral to a solid football team.

When they MOVE large appliance-like DL'men around like they (DL'men) are on wheels, they (OL'men) can sometimes even gain a semblance of fame and notoriety...:bowdown:
 
Yes I know you were joking but people on here are sensitive because we won and I didn't want them to misunderstand either. LOL.

Agree - Remember the trade Dallas made with Hershel Walker? Those 5 players and 6 draft picks they got for Hershel were the reason for Dallas' resurgence in the early 90s.

Falcon's could pull of something like that....maybe to Dallas! If Dallas drafted Quincy, think what they'd give for Vick!!:laugher:
