Good post about GT over on GSU boards

Thanks, but I go back to the beginning of Tech Message Boards and I don't ever remember one time that any Tech fan disrespected or dismissed the GSU program. Please take that back to their board.
 
I have always thought Westerdawg a tool. His opinion on CBs is not based on any Facts. Is Florida having trouble recruiting CBs? How about Illinois for that matter? If CBs really think the way he thinks they do, why doesn't Texas Tech get all the good CBs? Do they?

Anecdotally the GSU fans claim that BD was the position with the most Pro potential for them. I'm curious if Pro caliber players from the Eagle D were recruited as A-backs. I think that is what Wester is missing. Historically, a lot of GT's best DBs were recruited for O.

I believe that a lot of the best DBs for Georgie played on O in high school also. We have a much better chance of 'stealing' a lot of potential DBs from Georgie if they want a chance to play O. I wouldn't be surprised to see 60 to 70% of our incoming recruits going forward to be on offense in Spring Practice before balancing back up over the next year or so.

Not sure what you mean by that one. I didnt read the entire thread, so if I missed something, enlighten me.

someone on that board made the comment that GT has always disrespected and put down GSU and wont play them in FB or BB or something like that...im trying to find it again

I did finally find that. It came from a UGA fan.

That spells it all. ;)
 
Well, I read the whole thread and the dawg fan makes some pretty good points. We got a big hole to dig out of and you have to be a huge optimist to believe we can upset them next year, after all they are the preseason #1 pick.

However, he does underestimate our recruiting classes of last few years and the impact of the probation. True, if everyone transfers
out then that has impact. I hope he follows thru with his analysis of the Tech's recruiting class. Perfect locker room material. The dawgs have always been the most vulnerable when they were the most arrogant.
 
There is nothing to gain from playing GSU, but alot to lose - if we lost to them.

If it's a bait post, there's no telling what he really thinks and I could care less anyway. If "thinks" is an accurate word. Thought and depth are not overly common in the Georgia fan culture.

I've seen Marcus Wright's video. The guy is a stud. He is known to have turned down a number of Big XII schools who were interested in him. Phil Smith got an offer from Penn State before committing to GT, and had serious interest from both FSU and WVU. Lee Butler is a good player who cares more about his education and turned down anyone that wasn't a first tier academic name. Which would not include your alma mater, Lester.

Lester either knows these things and is just baiting, or he doesn't know them. One is childish and the other ignorant. Either fits in very well over in Athens.
 
You can always count on Paulwestertard for some comic relief. Panic will set in amongst the leghumper faithful when those "inferior" recruits help wreck their dreams come November.
 
I'm pretty impressed with the level of Football IQ being displayed by the GSU posters over there.
 
It started off as a good discussion but trailed off into the UGA vs GSU 2004 game discussion.
 
I wonder if Paul Westerdawg realizes that all the recruiting hooplah and services have basically flourished because of UGA fans.

How many different examples can we give of UGA players who were either upgraded in the rankings based on their commitment to UGA or overrated all together. Lets see, how about Tereshinski? Did anyone think this kid was a 4 star top 10 QB coming out of Highschool other than a service who pandered to his UGA bloodlines and the UGA fans?
