Smoov is trying to lose this one. Two turnovers all on him. Is he the new R***** B***? I saw the way he carried the ball last year and the year before. All the athleticism in the world doesn't mean jack when your ball security sucks a##. I would rather see a less athletic (and taller) QB in there that protects the ball, steps up in the "pocket" to throw, and doesn't turn a 1 yard loss into a 15 yard loss because he thinks he can outrun everyone else on the field. Paul Johnson needs the intestinal fortitude to let "Smoov" ride the pine if he keeps on fumbling, making bad pitches, and throwing picks.

And if I hear any crap about our #2 guy not being ready then Brian Cook needs to be fired or at least give back a huge hunk of his paycheck.

Agreed - might as well give the backup some PT anyway - this season's completely over. 2-10, here we come.

Cause QB is our clear problem area this year.

while he hasn't played well, do you really want to start Jordan or whoever the emergency #2 is? if so, JT won't be here next season.

Who the öööö are you assholes? Don't remember seeing you around last year when this team was beating the brakes off of four top-15 teams in a row.

Bah - he's not stupid enough to transfer and miss a season and he's not gonna pull a Vad and quit.

Usual dipshits are here I see. Reading stupid öööö like this thread makes losing even worse.

Calling for JTs head is effing stupid.

Sean Bedford says that gap protection is the easiest type of protection. Our guys are still missing assignments on the line.

This.

JT would "magically" look a whole lot better if he wasn't running for his life.

The o-line is quite poor.

It is because of this high school offense.

Yup. JT5's shortcomings wouldn't be so apparent if we had an OL that could do anything that resembled blocking.

For JT's health, Johnson needs to put in a few plays out of the shotgun. It'd be an improvement to our complete joke of a "2 minute offense" and might save a few years of JT's life.

Throwing passes to backs ain't a 2-minute offense. It's bullshit.

I'd kill to have Bill Lewis And/Or Reggie Ball back at Tech.

You wouldn't want Bill Lewis. He had one successful season at East Carolina and fooled us into thinking he was a good coach. Anyone but Bill Lewis.

That's about Issue #134 with this team. Just stop.

We aren't winning the turnover battle like we did last year. We aren't good enough to beat anyone on our schedule if JT keeps on giving the ball away. Just off the top of my head I believe he has been responsible for 2 turnovers apiece in all 5 of our losses. If we had scored on all of those lost possessions our record would be 6-1. Clemson is just way better than us this year.
