Very common for teams to make adjustments and have second halves that are very different than their first haves, whether for better or for worst.

If you think this is unique to GT you are insane. Just go through the box scores.

In most instances it's because of adjustments made by coaches based on what they saw in the half. In some instances teams get ahead and get complacent and/or conservative. In other instances, it's about momentum and which way turnovers and breaks go. Usually it's a combination of all 3.
