I heard that too, and Swilling is going low key on what Chernoff said.

Chernoff has been a Tech fan, but I would bet a dollar that 790 has been told by someone (Radokovich) to be in the Tech business if they want to stay the "flagship" station. I love it.

I doubt that - if he didn't believe it, he wouldn't have said it. They're sports talk hosts, not GT mouth pieces - they give opinions and Chernoff's opinion (which has been consistent the last couple of weeks) is that GT will not only cover, but win. I hope he's right.
 
Maybe it wasn't D Rad that said anything. Maybe 790 decided themselves that it looked stoopid to call them selves the "flagship station" and then heckle Tech.
I am not referring to Chernoff.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with sportstalk people in general saying anything they want. I just have a fairly tight definition of what flagship means.
At any rate, I do think, based on the last two weeks of listening that 790 is more pro Tech than they have ever been.
