Grandson's Kicking Game !!!

Friday night's game was Thomas County Central versus Tlhomasville HS, and was preceded by torrential rains. My grandson has been their starting kicker for the past three years and is a senior this year.

TCC won, 38-0, with Gavin making all 5 of his pats, 4of 5 kickoffs going into or out of endzone(one landed on 4 yd line), and a 33 yd field goal with a soggy ball. Sidelines were so wet kids had water over their shoes!
 
Awesome! My mother went to Thomasville High back in the day before TCC existed. TCC always has had excellent football teams so your grandson must be good.
 
goldeagle that is impressive...not many hs kids can hit a 33 yarder on a dry field, let alone on a wet one. a grandson is one of the very few things that ranks up above a good hunting dog and a flask of bourbon at a college FB game on life's short list of pleasures. do you travel down for all the games?
 
At one of the Corky Kell games yesterday, a kid hit a 53 yarder at end of first half. Can't remember which team it was.
