Just imagine, if he had dropped that ONE HUGE pass. But he didn't and he can live with that great play the rest of his life. Most of the time we did not notice Brian in critical blocking situations (as is true with most of our great, unselfish linemen) but he was there. Thanks Brian and all the others like you who make the Yellow Jackets a TEAM.......
I think so often of the long snapper, the FG snapper, the holder......along with the blockers.
All must do a critical job for success to take place.
Of course we give the kicker the most credit and he is the key, but the others are truly indispensible. Atta Boy, Cuz!
Not many gold chains, jive talking and glamourwith this guy.The oft repeated story of a young man who will make that GT education pay off for him.The trials of the academics and the fball can be nothing but a developer of his integrity and character.
I had him in one of my classes last fall. He was fun to work with and I think he'll do well with whatever path he pursues in the future. Apparently, he's already off to a pretty good start. I wish him nothing but the best.
When I read that story Sunday ... I CRIED!! Yeah I know ... what a wimp. What a wonderful article, just what we all know GT and those who attend to be!
