There is no doubt that he is personally a very, very good man. Frustrating as you know what, but a very good man.

Irvin had been in the league 11 or 12 years at that point, and had been busted for coke, so it's just possible Gailey thought he wasn't at the top of his game.

There's no doubt he is VERY stubborn. In fact, I would say he is nearly as stubborn as naysayers like you who stubbornly refuse to accept that anything he does can possibly be of any use.

If Gailey crapped gold bricks, you'd complain that they were only 14K.

Not gonna find one. They are all stubborn, it's what gives them the ego to be HC.
