Have come to know MasterB going to spring practices this year. He's a good guy!! When I see the dude, I'll mention to him about posting over here as well.
Like what I've seen from D this spring. Think we will need to really swarm to the ball using our speed and play a lot of people up front. If we stay healthy we should field a great D. I'm concerned about the season wearing us thin a little. Meaning guys getting hurt. We'll get bigger and stronger over the summer which will help.
All these guys can really run with the exception of maybe Koon, who is our biggest D player. He worked very hard in practices I saw, even doing some extra running and conditioning after practice which looked to be his own doing. I don't think he's slow for his size. He's just a big dude with a lot to move around.
A big body upfront really helps with the pounding game after game as the season goes on.
On O the biggest ? I have is debth at OL. Hopefully we'll see a 100% Bennett while J. Phillips will be ready to go. That would answer any question about debth I have there.
Feel we'll move the ball and score points even to start the seaon, but as our QB's get more and more playing time we could be special.
At running back our best bet is to have a healthy Sidney Ford, who has never played a season healthy to my knowledge. The other guys showed they can play and then some IMO. We could get some help this fall with incoming guys.
If guys get pressure up front I'm not worried about DB, and safety I feel with LB will be a strong suit of the team.
Lets just stay healthy and play hard noised football!!
