Notice the informal list put out by College Football News ranking the top football teams the ACC has ever had:

However, the site uses the member schools when they weren't necessarily in the ACC. We have a slew of teams mentioned as does Florida State. Wonder how many of those will leave the list next year when the Hurricanes, Va Tech, and BC enter the picture?

Definitely not Bro. Bowden and his mess. Jerry Claiborne and a guy named Ross had the best ACC teams I ever saw (besides TECH

)at Mary Land.

They had some teams back then that NO ONE wanted to see coming.

They need to check their facts. We won 7 games in 1989 alone.

10. 1990 Georgia Tech, 11-0-1
After winning a total of five games over the previous two seasons, the Tech team of 1990 had a season for the ages. They didn't blow too many teams out and had a 13-13 tie to get past, but this team still beat seven teams that finished with winning records including a 41-38 win over then No. 1 Virginia. A 45-21 win over Nebraska in the Florida Citrus Bowl sealed a piece of the national title.
