There have been some good ones since I started in 97, but this might be the most emotional, especially since it 99% for sure looked we were done. What do some of you old timers have to say?

Also, a shoutout to the Mover Brothers right now... I know they got some tears in their eyes right now.

You guys played a masterpiece. Yes, there were mistakes on both sides as happens in a rivalry game with high tension. But Tech, good as they've been lately, was a playoff team today. This was a tribute to good coaching and sets the stage for a big future for you guys. I'm heartbroken. The Tech game means more to me than any game in the season, and we at least had the chance to finish in the Top Ten and go to a good bowl. But the main thing is losing to your biggest rival. You outcoached us, outplayed, hung in there and showed more toughness after bad breaks. All I can say is, no excuses here, the better team won and congratulations.

I wish I could make a DVD/Blu Ray of 1999, 2008 and 2014. At least the third quarter of 2008.

2000 is very near and dear to my heart. Mainly, cause I get to repeat the phase, "the goose is loose!"

Cheers, mate. That was everything Clean Old Fashioned Hate is supposed to be.

This was one of the most emotional football games I've ever watched. From total elation to utter despair multiple times......then to win it in a fashion that has trailers burning all over the state of GA is something of legend. I'm so öööö proud to be a JACKET!!!!

Yup... Pure emotion.

Last post and I'll go kill myself. NOBODY bottled up our running game all year. You guys did it somehow. And our defense played disciplined, assignment ball against the option all year. You guys were just too much at first on the dives and then everything opened up. Just startling to me. Bad as I feel, I know this was Tech's day and the better team is supposed to win. Thing is, I'm not at all sure FSU can handle you guys and I think they know it. Never saw this Tech team coming in the preseason. Gotta go drain my wrists now.

Both teams played their hearts out. You have an unbelievable team. Chubb and Michel are great RB's and will have great careers. Good luck in your bowl game.

now you know how last year felt for us!

also I assume you are using hyperbole, don't kill yourself, just a football game

Classy post, Saxondawg. It was a great win and you showed guts to come back on the board.

Totally overrated UGA offense. And the UGA defense was gassed in the 2nd half. We were the better team and the more physically dominant. My thoughts are that UGAy fit right in there with VT, Dook, and Miami. UNCs offense was much better. Clemsons defense was much better.

The refs tried to give UGA the game and we then attempted to self district. We would beat this UGAy team 7 out of 10 times.

Goodness. Don't go posting stuff like this, I want to hate all of you. Seriously, I've had my heart broken so many times by you guys that I've almost lost count.

Helluva game.

I do not think UGA was overrated. Tech rose up and outslobberknocked them. And that is something you just do not see very often.

This is one of the greatest college football games ever. Not just in the rivalry.
