To add to the queaziness, the last time Tech scored over 100 in consecutive games (Citadel & Navy in 2001), they lost to Clempsin 47-44 the next week. For those with sick feelings we were #15 heading into the VT game in 2005 and #13 when we played Clemson last year. If the annual nutpunch is coming it will be one of the next three games.

Really? Who was our quarterback way back then?
As I recall, we won that game! Pretty good game too!Odd enough though that the games are all being played on the exact same days as they were in 2001 - even our Thursday night game. In 01 it was North Carolina on the Flats, this year it's Virginia Tech, both on November 1st.
