USC just leaped the Great Satan for #1 in the AP. No doubt many UGA fans are going home to their trailers and beating their wives out of frustration.

USC got too much credit for beating a UVA team that is probably worse than some of the D1-AA teams played by other top teams.

I still think they are the best team in America. I think Oklahoma is deserving as well.

I'm not saying that USC earned it, I'm just saying. Given a match up between Georgia Southern and UVA, I'd bet against the Al Groh experience.

You think this is some posturing for that big, terrible game in two weeks between THE Ohio State University and USC?

Not hating on you, just the system. If the voters thought UGA was the best team in the country before, they didn't do anything on the field to disprove that (aside from now losing a top player on D on top of the Sturdivant injury).

Amen. USC-East is now 24th, which means they now have to play a ranked opponent 4 weeks in a row and 6 times in 7 weeks. (@SC, @Az State, Bama, Tenn., @LSU, and vs Florida).

I've said since June that they could easily be 2-3 coming out of September and 4-5 after the Florida game.
 
Chuckie dowdihead made me laugh last night saying it's ok if the nadlickers drop a place or two, in the end they would still be playing for the championship because of who they were.
 
And VIRGINIA is ranked HIGHER than VIRGINIA TECH?

CFN has always liked us and usually overranks us. We'll see how good we are after saturday...
