GT ACC's Biggest Enegma

Why can people not spell???

It is not that hard; it's not a typo: The "e" is the other hand from the "i"

/rant

that's to the author, not the poster: sorry if I was confusing.

Because they read message boards, text messages, shoddily written e-mails, etc. all throughout the day where no one cares about grammar or spelling because it's just for fun and completely informal, right? Who cares about the difference between "there," "their," and "they're" or if you use an apostrophe to indicate pluralization? It's not like you don't understand what is being said. But guess what...the more you read and do that stuff, the more it seeps into your formal writing. It's not just a switch you can turn on and off. Personally I think it is becoming a real problem in our society and it's a lot more serious than people realize. But then again, bad grammar and spelling that makes grown men sound like ten year old school children is my personal pet peeve. Unfortunately, most don't agree with me, so this will continue and everyone's communication skills will suffer(my own included...I notice I make a lot more stupid mistakes ever since I started reading a lot of message boards a couple years ago).

By the way, I really don't think article is that good. It's what I would expect from an article with a word misspelled in the title.

QFT.

I have been shocked to find out that people I was debating with on the internet were like twice my age. You would never have been able to tell from spelling, punctuation, and grammar that this was the case.

Considering how our offense will be making the teams on our schedule shit their pants, we just might be the ACC's biggest enema.

Are you laughing because the post was funny (which it was) or because he said the S-word?
Because I thought it was a clever and hilarious post. The S word isn't why it's funny...it's funny because he used an enema as a metaphor for our new offense.

I'm just amazed that people get paid to write articles like that.

The author didn't do any research.

The author didn't follow the basic rules of grammer.

The article added no new insights and contained no analysis.

Where can I get paid to come up with drivel like that? Most message board posts are better than that.

It wasn't even satirical/funny.

If I said that articles like that were full of poop I would be giving them too much credit.
