CBS seems to think the possibility that GT vs. AUB in the Orange. Any thoughts on this? Is this the best matchup that anyone would want? Not that AUB is not quality opp. this year, but I like matchups that you won't see in a regular schedule. Big 12? Michigan?

If we make the Orange, I hope we play someone from the Big East.

I can't imagine the Orange Bowl would want a regional matchup like that. I don't think it would be good for TV ratings.

It only feels that way cause we did the 2 game series with AU, we won't be playing them for a long time and they're definitely one of my favorite opponents so I'd love to play them in the orange (or the chicken bowl).

I just picked the BE because I want to expose them, and I think they'll be the biggest patsy in the BCS this year.

Unless ND makes it. Pray for ND. I'd love to butcher them.

The big east is very overrated that much is for sure, I would love to hand the Mountainqueers their butts in the orange bowl.

A ND rematch would be awesome, and we would win, and sweet revenge it would be.

Right now, it's very likely that Auburn will end up with one loss and not go to the SECCG. It's really crazy, but if Arkansas doesn't lose to both LSU and Tenn. at home and wins the rest of their games against the bottom-feeders, then Ark. would go to Atlanta over Auburn.

If things fall the right way, then Auburn could very well end up in the top 7 or whatever it is and get an at-large bid. Does anybody remember a situation similar to this, where a team didn't go to their conf's championship game but got an at-large bid?

Rose Bowl 2005, Texas got the At Large bid, but Big 12 Championship game was Colorado and OU if I remember correctly.

...well, Im right according to wikipedia, but thats not exactly the most accurate thing but Im going to trust it this time.

That's correct, OU went to the National Championship game that year.

I remember that now. That was the year OU went to the national championship instead of Auburn. Some Cal fans also said that Texas passed Cal in the BCS standings because Mack Brown influenced other coach's votes. After the bowls, though, it appeared the coach's poll made the right decision as Cal lost to Texas Tech and Texas beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

It still looks a whole lot more stranger seeing Auburn get an at-large even though they're behind Arkansas than seeing Texas get an at-large even though they're behind OU. Hmm, not really sure if that last sentence made any sense, but hopefully y'all get my point.

If Auburn goes 11-1 and no invite to Atlanta, I believe that they will go to Pasadena. I have discussed with other AUB fans. Either Orange or Rose.
