Only did 1st Half and 1st drive

Some good and some bad.

Imo, this should should've been a 31-14 game instead 52-14 if we were decent at run fits

DL was ok. Imo wasn't manhandled by one of the better OL but could've been more disruptive
Pass rush was bad on both blitzes and winning 1 on 1s
LB was at ok times but mostly below average
Secondary was solid in tackling and coverage

Good thing is these are all correctable mistakes and I look for a better showing vs USF

This is great. Thanks for putting this together.

You almost started with "It is never as good or as bad as it seems." I expect a full commit to the phrase next video.

I thought i did lol. It’s one of the truer cliques especially in sports

Thanks a lot for putting this together. I think each time I watch more of that game, I see more solid play by Tre Swilling. It seems like he did his job well on just about every play.

Appreciate it.

I think the general take away:

1) Our DBs can play with and cover an elite passing team. Any kind of pass rush and we could be dangerous in particular situations.

2) Seems like our front 7 (6) is over matched (as they have been) against elite teams with good OL and running backs. We will have to wait and see how they do against more equally talented teams.

I'm surprised how much they ran Lawrence, particularly with the game in hand. Gonna be surprised if that doesnt bite them in the butt.

Great review as always. Thanks for putting it together. Glad to see the increased aggressiveness. Sounds like the linebacking corps is still the weak spot of the defense... seems to have been that way for a few years now.

It wasn’t by choice. A byproduct of a LB not playing his assignment and man coverage

at 7:34 - no freaking holding call??

There was another play where we got past the OL and he had both hands wrapped around our guy’s waist. I don’t remember when it was but Clemson was on the left side of the screen so maybe 2nd quarter?

I actually liked what I saw from the defense. Obviously life is more important than football, and we miss him for more than this on the field crap but lord almighty Brandon Adams would be mighty helpful. RIP.
