GT depth chart for Notre Dame

It was said back in the spring that Peek MIGHT be red shirted because of the depth at the position. Also, it is said that Chambers is not yet 100% and might take a RS.

Holeee cow...

Guess I hadn't been paying that close attention to our DL. Of the 8 players on the two-deep, we have only ONE senior and two juniors.

Toss in last year's class and this year's verbals and I see some serious depth on the DL for the next very long time. Jon Tenuta picks and chooses!

Good things are in store folks.

Wow, we got quite a team coming back next year. We lose 3 starters on offense and 3 on defense.

I guess if Calvin leaves that will be 4 on offense.

No real surprises & some battles in defensive secondary are still going on. ? about a coupla players jumped into my head; 1) Colin Peek is not mentioned 2) Travis Chambers is not to be found. Does anyone have any light to throw on these guys?

Surprises of fall practice on depth chart:
1) Lonowski legitimately pulled into a tie for 2st string RG with McManus...before McManus even got hurt...and of course Lonowski was out awhile as well.
2) Lawrence Marius making #2 CB behind Kenny Scott.
3) Matt Braman making #2 LB behind Wheeler over Chambers. Chambers may redshirt as his foot is still not 100%.
4) Robert Hall (true freshman) finishing ahead of R-Fr Brad Sellers at DE. I have to wonder if Sellers may end up at OG down the line.
5) Blackwood (R-Fr) finishing ahead of So. Tony Clark at #2 FS.
6) Sedric Griffin is at #3 LB but will not redshirt.
