I got about 24 usable pics, mostly of tailgating
and greeting the players. I did get a few action
shots too though...

I saw a TV in there correct? And not a 13" black and white!

Were they doing antennae? dish?

Menu?

I watched this one from the couch here in Jackson, but am always looking for tailgating ideas.
 
Those RVs were about the size of a bus, so they
could open up the cargo bays and plug in TVs at
ground level. We just sat in our chairs under the
canopies and watched the games.

There was a variety of stuff being cooked. I know
at least one group nearby did a low country boil.
 
The green one is mine. Thanks for the pictures Cracker. And no we are not rock stars, just avid YJ fans! For those asking we had direct tv going and did a low country boil. A great time was had by all. I enjoyed meeting many new friends and spending time with old ones.

Drop by AMC this weekend - we will be at it again!

Do you normally RV to the games? We're looking for some GT RVers to link up with for some of the events (local and possibly away). I have a huge smoker on wheels that we often pull behind the motorhome to big events (big enough to concurrently smoke 2 whole hogs). Has anyone ever entertained any thoughts of forming a GT RV Club for the faithful? Talk to me...

guys were great hosts this weekend. I'll be around
more often, especially at road games.

Those RVs are out of my price range, but I am
seriously considering something small like a
mail truck or short bus that I could paint gold
and drive around on game day.


If you RV / tailgate folks want to coordinate, I
can set you up a private forum on my website.

I am still new to this site - learning my way around the format...anyway some answers:

Buzz Bomb - yes we RV to all home games and most all road ones (we will miss Wake this year) I would love to see the smoker and swap some tips and receipes. Cooking at a tailgate is a passion on mine! I have bounced around the idea of of an RV Club - just have not had the time to talk seriously with folks about it. I think its a great idea! Drop by saturday and we can discuss.

CJ - I think the forum is a great idea - since there appear to be folks here who don't post on the Hive. How do I send you an email? BTW I think the short bus idea is awesome! It will be easier to a maintain and hides the beer stains and smells better than mine. Plus painting it gold would be killer!

Would be great to meet you. I'll be out of town on Friday but hope to be back Sat. Where would I find you parked at Tech on Saturday and can I get into the lot to look you up? I would love to be RV Charter Member #2 if you were really serious about starting a 'Ramblin Wreck Road Warriors' club. I truly love to see those GT flags/banners flying proudly on game day.

Here's our current situation this year... I have a daughter in the band at UGA so we opted to purchase UGA season tickets just to show support for her in her final year. I purchased the White ticket package at Tech and will have an opportunity to use only the Maryland and Georgia tickets. Next year, our family is Tech all the way on season tickets!!! Perhaps, we could plan on bringing the RV & smoker down for the GT/UGA game and throwing a good ole fashion Tech party to support the team. We have plenty of time to plan if you might be interested. Can't forget to invite CrackerJacket... he's been a darn good Bee to help out with the RV forum.
