GT in bowl picks

well they also believe in how much ACC sucks but putting us above the average in ACC

It's hilarious how quickly the media changes their minds. Practically no one had us in a bowl game before the season, and then we beat a 1-aa opponent (which we're supposed to do) and everyone has us in a bowl.

Granted, they saw the ACC sucks, but still...

And everyone drops Clemson from the ACCCG and puts WF in, which may be legit, but it's funny how quickly the media jumps on and off bandwagons.

Chick-fil-a hates us so they will jump over GT if they can.

I agree, but it'd be sweet to play in the CFA. It'd be nice to get another chance to beat an SEC team this year.

They will probably update their predictions during the BC-GT game :) for every quarter at this speed.

Does the chicken bowl hate U[sic]GA or just us? B/c I think both GT and U[sic]GA complained about this new game.

Plus, jumping over teams in the ACC to get to other teams could be really bad for business---there could be a large drop off between #2 and #3 in the ACC and whoever comes after that. Given that the chicken bowl prides itself on being on a day other than sunday and having good matchups, I imagine we'd be hard to pass up if we are 2nd or 3rd best.

It all depends on how big the drop-off is... if Tech is leading the next team by a wide margin, then I say they would take us. Also, it depends on the team that is just behind Tech.

Its about REVENUE for the state and the bowl. who spends more money? Tech people that would come, most of whom live in the area, or 30,000 Clemson fans or FSU fans that would not only buy tickets but need hotel rooms and/or rental cars and maybe plane tickets.

if you think that they "hate" Tech, then the inferiority complex is coming out again, its not that they hate Tech or UGA, they just get encouraged to invite teams that dont live in the state.

that makes total and legitimate sense to me...
